The Manager, Dual Credit Partnerships Office provides strategic leadership and operational management for VCC’s dual credit partnerships and regional collaboration with K–12 school districts, Indigenous education partners, and internal stakeholders. This role is accountable for leading stakeholder engagement supporting the establishment and coordination of a regional Coastal Corridor dual credit consortium, partnership development, agreements, planning, and systems coordination to enable sustainable expansion of dual credit programming and improved student transitions.

 Strategic Leadership and Planning 

• Leads stakeholder engagement processes supporting the establishment, governance, and ongoing operation of the Coastal Corridor dual credit consortium. 
• Develops and implements regional frameworks and multi-year plans for sustainable dual credit expansion. 
• Identifies opportunities for new academic, trades, and micro credential-based dual credit models. 

• Serves as VCC’s senior operational liaison with school districts, Indigenous education partners, and regional collaborators. 
• Liaises with internal stakeholders including Registrar’s Office, Finance, Student Services, IT and VCC Schools to align operational processes. 
• Represents VCC in regional and provincial dual credit forums. 
• Coordinates cross-departmental collaboration to streamline enrollment, registration, grading, billing, and transition processes. 
• Identifies and addresses operational barriers impacting students and partners. 
• Partners with Indigenous Education and Community Engagement (IECE) to expand Indigenous dual credit partnerships. 
• Supports culturally responsive dual credit models that address barriers to participation. 
• Coordinates development of affiliation agreements with individual school districts 

• Manage grant-funded dual credit initiatives, budgets, and reporting requirements. 
• Allocate resources to support engagement, planning, promotion, and student supports. 
• Exercises independent judgment in planning and managing the dual credit portfolio; recommends strategic directions and partnership commitments to senior leadership. 

Education and Experience 

• Master’s degree in education, public administration, or related field, or equivalent experience with demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. 
• Experience with dual credit, youth transitions, or Indigenous partnerships and knowledge of provincial education policy and grant-funded programs will be an asset

• Excellent project management and leadership skills. 
• Strong experience in integrating new technologies into teaching and learning practices and designing courses for online delivery software. 
• Strong experience in business development. 
• Good understanding of a range of e-learning tools and platforms. 
• Ability to work effectively and maintain professional relations with the public, faculty, staff and students. 
• Excellent oral and written communications skills. 

$87,854 - $117,138 - $128,852 annualized (Pay Grid 10). Normal starting salary placement is between $87,854 and $117,138. Compensation beyond the control/mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employer’s Council Secretariat (PSEC).
