Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Services, the summer student will be working closely with the Technical Specialist, Multimedia Specialist, and other members of the Marketing Services team.
Please note: the successful candidate must work in-person at the 1555 Buffalo Place office.Job Responsibilities
- Assess, organize, and catalogue visual collateral.
- Work with the Technical Specialist to develop comprehensive digital photo library and related documentation.
- Work with the Technical Specialist and Multimedia Specialist to review and test video processes and digital signage processes.
- Assist in planning and execution of video shoots and photo shoots.
- Create visual catalogue of studio supplies and props.
- Help to plan, create, and organize procedural documents for the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Primary Qualifications
- University faculty and course(s) or College/Vocational program(s): Commerce & Marketing, Business Administration, Creative Communications, Digital Film and Media Production, Media and Communications, or equivalent.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow standards, and develop new standards.
- Experience in photography, videography, and editing software considered an asset.
